Well last night was rough. Our seats were amazingly close but the stadium felt very pro-Sweden. There were pockets of US fans and even a few noticed our OL Reign gear. One of the photographers on the field even asked me to hold up the OL Reign flag we brought.

One major difference we noted was how quiet the stadium was between plays. It was loudest between each PK. We screamed our support and confusion over the lack of substitutes. Disbelief. Shock. Sadness. The look in Rapinoe's eyes before she took her PK sums it up.

Today was all about retail therapy. We got our steps in starting at the Southern Wharf back up through the CBD to Block Arcade and then to GPO and Emporium. Kevin found a couple jerseys for his collection and I found a Matildas hoodie.

The craziest find was an NBA store that even had Sonics gear. Every person who noticed either our accent or asked about the OL Reign gear we wore offered condolences for the USWNT going out yesterday

Currently watching the England v Nigeria game and looking forward to Australia v Denmark later.
